We’re excited that Girl Scout Troop 1587 has agreed to run a Pinwheels for Peace project as part of the WiSC Peace Walk activities! Under the guidance of their dedicated Service Project Coordinator, Michelle Rohani, these amazing young leaders are putting their creativity and heart into action.
The Pinwheels for Peace project gives kids — and kids at heart — a way to share their hopes for a kinder, more connected community. Troop 1587 will be organizing a pinwheel-making station where participants can create colorful pinwheels, each carrying a message of peace, love, and unity. These pinwheels will then be displayed during the Peace Walk, filling the space with a powerful, visual reminder of what we can achieve when we come together.
We can’t wait to see the creativity and joy this project will bring to the event. A big thank-you to Troop 1587 for leading this meaningful activity and inspiring all of us to take small steps toward big change.
